Alex (anonymised) came to Sunrise at the age of 18 under the leaving care team. Alex has been in care for most of his life and has an extensive history of violence including: verbal assault, racial assault, physical assault to the extent of breaking someone's arm, absconding and sexualised behaviour towards minors. Alex was receiving 3:1 support, 24/7 for many years with almost daily incidents of restraint required. He was always escorted on a DoLS in the community.
